BIOGRAPHY
Tamara Fernando is a Franco/Sri Lankan artist. She trained at the Avignon Dance Conservatoire and at the Studio Pygmalion theater school and collaborates as a dancer with many companies, such as Ballet National de Marseille, Ballet Basel, Blanca Li... She also participates in musicals, and dances for artists, such as Stromae, Prince...
As a choreographer, Tamara creates the dancing parts for the show "Les Souliers Rouges" performed at the Folies Bergère theater in Paris.
She collaborates with Marie-Agnès Gillot on various projects, including "La boxeuse amoureuse", a show on the music of Arthur H, and as director, on a documentary, “Etoile de mère”, on the prima ballerina.
Tamara collaborates with directors such as Jérémie Lippmann, Justine Heynemann on plays, but also on films working on the choreography with actors, such as Victoria Abril in the play « Drôle de Genre ».
She creates her own company La Mamma Company in order to create and tour her personal creations.
